Is It Normal Worry or Anxiety? – An Evening with Peter Janetzki
In our modern and busy world, it is often challenging for parents to know if their child or teen is experiencing normal worry as part of their development, or if it is the beginning of something more sinister such as an anxiety disorder. This presentation will give parents some tools and strategies to better understand and respond to the concerns that they may be experiencing with their child and/or teen. Research indicates that an effective and early response to worry and anxiety results in better life-long outcomes in our children’s lives. Peter not only brings his extensive professional experience to this topic from a Biblical perspective but his own journey of living with General Anxiety Disorder as well as parenting a daughter living with anxiety.
