Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
What a Gift We Gave!
A huge thank you to our community for helping to collect and assemble 158 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We set a target of 150 and we were successful in exceeding this thanks to your generosity and support. The boxes this year will be sent to the Philippines. It is so exciting to know that so many children will be blessed by this small gift and have the opportunity to hear about Jesus. As a Primary School, we also were able to raise over $1400 towards postage as well. We are truly blessed to be part of such a giving community.
This year, we opened up the College to be a drop-off location for the wider community and we had a wonderful response, accepting approximately 700 boxes to add to our collection. Tony from Operation Christmas Child was extremely grateful for the efforts of the College and community. We hope to go even bigger and better next year.
In speaking with Tony, they are in need of volunteers to help sort and pack boxes at their sorting centre in Banyo. All boxes have to be sorted by early December. If you have any time available and would be willing to help, please get in touch with their office to volunteer

THANK YOU – One and all for a great effort! Every one of these shoeboxes will be a precious gift to a child that will show the practical love of Christ in action.
