An Action-packed, Amazing Construction Morning

Pre-Prep celebrated Father’s Day this week with an action-packed, amazing construction morning! Dads were greeted with enthusiasm as they were handed their zone passes for our playground, which had been turned into a large construction site!

The children and their Dads loved exploring the Camping Zone; complete with a fishing boat and a tent. The box Construction Zone saw lots of collaborative creations of vehicles, including spaceships, rockets and cars. In the Creative Zone, children had opportunities to make cards and special ties for their Dads to wear. For our Dads, who took time out of their busy schedules to join us, we even included a Relaxation Zone!

Construction Zones in our playground included the woodwork bench, sandpit and block construction. Everyone utilised a variety of open-ended materials, such as blocks, Lego, boxes and tools. Together we invented, problem solved, used our imaginations and most importantly, had fun!
