Parenting Strategies for Raising Children In An Uncertain World

Brisbane Christian College enjoys the powerful effect of a family, school and church working together for the benefit and well­-being of our children. As a ministry of Life Church, we are committed to empowering families to lead in every area of life! We are partnering with Peter Janetzki to encourage and empower parents to build strong families with several FREE workshops throughout the year.

This is an open event for anyone interested. Please note that childminding will not be provided at this event.

Topic: Parenting Strategies for Raising Children In An Uncertain World

Parenting is a journey which encompasses the joys and challenges of each day. As children grow, parents are stretched to new levels of understanding and experience. This presentation will focus on the Primary and Pre-Primary years. Age-appropriate strategies and principles will be presented within a supportive and encouraging context.

Peter Janetzki is a counsellor/psychotherapist and educator in private practice, providing individual, couple and family therapy. He has a Masters Degree in Counselling and has more than thirty years experience in working with people in a variety of settings, including as a teacher, youth worker, school counsellor, advisory visiting teacher, sessional lecturer, counsellor and psychotherapist.

Peter is a clinical member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia and is listed on the PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) National Register. He is also a member of the International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy.

Peter has a number of passions including his family, making a difference in people’s lives, surf fishing (especially at Fraser Island) and the Brisbane Lions. Peter is a family man, who has been married to Neroli for thirty-five years and has two married daughters and a granddaughter.

Qualifications: Dip.T., Grad.Dip.Soc.Sc, M.Soc.Sc (Counselling), CCAQ (Clin), PACFA Reg. 21092. MIACN.
