Online Church Services

We encourage you to stay connected with your local church, especially through this season. You are welcome to join Life Church at Home online services including the new online Kids Life programs with parent resources. Checkout some Life Church links below:

Zoom Conference and Group Calls

Zoom is an easy cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, collaboration and chat across mobile devices, desktops and other devices. Free accounts provide 40 minute sessions. Get creative with your friends and family – try activities like cooking or games with your friends online. CLICK here to access some ideas you can try over video chat.

Compassion Resources – Colin Buchanan 

Compassion wants to help schools to encourage their students in the midst of what is happening! Much-loved Compassion Ambassador Colin Buchanan has created some kids’ resources for use in school communities. ‘Kids’ Talks with Colin’ is a brand-new (and entirely complimentary) video series featuring short talks, Bible readings, prayers and of course, music—so jump on and check out these fun resources via this link: https://www.compassion.com.au/colin-buchanan

Department of Education

The Department of Education has a number of online tools and resources to support students. Curriculum resources for English and Mathematics are available for students to complete at their own pace. ABC Education 

The ABC have expanded their education schedule to support students learning at home during the COVID-19 crisis. Further information can be accessed here in the Media Release, which includes relevant links.

Seven Network – Learning from Home

Queensland children will be able to tune into the Seven Network to learn as they remain at home due to coronavirus restrictions. 7NEWS Brisbane has teamed up with the Queensland government to broadcast Learning@home TV. The educational program will be broadcast from 8.30am to 10.30am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on free-to-air channel 7TWO. CLICK here for more information.

Free Audio Books from Audible

Right now, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. Explore the collection, select a title and start listening.

Skillshare

Skillshare is an online learning community with thousands of classes for creative and curious people, on topics including illustration, design, photography, video, freelancing and more. For new members of Skillshare you will receive your first two months of Skillshare Premium free.
