Middle & Secondary – Term 2 Week 3 (2020)
Dates and Events
We rest in the authority that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Saviour over the Brisbane Christian College community.
The College Management Team will continue to share updates regarding COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding and support through this time as we navigate how to ensure the wellbeing of our children and continue to provide a Christ-centered, quality education for our young people.
All communications regarding COVID-19 from the College Management Team will continue to be available at parents.

Lines of Communication
As a College, we endeavour to be approachable and we cherish open communication between parents and the College team. Especially through this season, we ask that you follow our regular lines of communication and direct any questions to your Home Learning Coordinator or subject teacher. This will allow us to respond to you quickly and provide better clarity around any questions you may have. Our Heads of Year are also available for support.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday, 10 May. While we won’t have our usual Mother’s Day stalls for you to shop from, we have listed below some ideas for gifts you can make and activities you can do for and with your mum. Personalise Mother’s Day for her: what does your mother like doing for fun, what means the most to her – quality time, physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service or gifts? Make your mum feel so special, and show her how much you love, value and appreciate her.
- Let her sleep in
- Breakfast in bed
- Go for a bush walk
- Make her a special crown out of pipe cleaners
- Printable Mother’s Day book
- Custom drawn family portrait
- Rock portrait
- Tea pack
- Pamper day: bubble bath, face mask, massage, paint nails
- Flip through photo albums
- Cook dinner.
